The Ghoulunatic is a custom-made acoustic-electric guitar from ItsYourGuitar.com. This instrument is a celebration of E.C. Comic’s classic horror titles, and includes the complete cast of “ghoulunatics”—The Crypt Keeper, The Vault Keeper, and The Old Witch.
Ghoulish Origins
This instrument features two versions of the OCK—the Original Crypt Keeper. The one in the circle is drawn by “Ghastly” Graham Ingles, while the larger image was rendered by Al Feldstein. Don’t be duped by HBO’s cheap imitation knock-off! This is OCK, yo!
Frightening Features
The guitar features a spruce top, a bone nut, and a bone saddle. (Ohhh, scary!) The Ghoulunatic features a Fishman Presys+ Onboard Preamp System, which offers an amazing amount of tone control, as well as a built-in tuner! The Ghoulunatic is ready to hit the stage! Creepy cool!
Give ’Til It Hurts
This guitar was built exclusively for the Scares That Care Charity Weekend 5 Silent Auction held at the Doubletree by Hilton in Williamsburg, VA August 3-5. IYG made its first public offering at last year’s STC Charity Weekend. The Horror Show With Brian Keene Axe raised a tidy sum for the charity and we’re hopeful The Ghoulunatic will do the same.
